Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Top Jump ("we", "us", "the game") collects, uses, and protects your information when you play on Android, desktop, or the web version at top-jump.com.

1. Authentication & Account Data

Top Jump uses Firebase Authentication (Google) to manage player accounts.

• Anonymous accounts are created automatically when you first play. These generate a unique Firebase User ID (UID) but do not collect personal information.
• Google Sign-In is optional. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and a Google-issued ID token. This allows you to sync your progress across devices.
• Authentication tokens (refresh token, UID, provider type, and email) are stored locally on your device in an encrypted file.

2. Cloud-Saved Game Data

Your game progress is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, linked to your Firebase UID. The following data is synced to the cloud:

Account State	Username, games played, last login timestamp, daily streak, last daily claim timestamp, email (if Google-linked), auth provider

This data is used exclusively to save and restore your game progress. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising purposes.

3. Leaderboards

Top Jump uses SilentWolf for global leaderboard functionality. When you submit a score, the following data is sent:

• Username (set by you in-game)
• Score
• Rank (your current rank tier)
• Country code (derived from your IP address via GeoJS — see below)

Leaderboard entries are publicly visible to all players.

4. IP-Based Country Detection

Top Jump uses the GeoJS service (get.geojs.io) to determine your country based on your IP address. This is used solely to display a country flag next to your leaderboard entry. Your IP address is not stored by Top Jump. Please refer to GeoJS's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.

5. Advertising

On Android, Top Jump displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve personalized or contextual ads. This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

The web version at top-jump.com does not display any ads.

6. Local Data Storage

Game progress is also saved locally on your device in an encrypted file (top_jump_save.json). Authentication credentials are stored in a separate local file (auth_data.json). These files remain entirely on your device and are not transmitted to any server (except when syncing to Firestore as described above).

7. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not use analytics or telemetry SDKs
• We do not track your in-game behavior for advertising
• We do not collect your phone number, address, or payment information
• We do not sell any user data to third parties

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to:

• Delete your account and all associated data — visit Account Deletion or email us
• Unlink your Google account — available in the game's settings menu
• Clear local data — clear your browser storage/cache or uninstall the app
• Request a copy of your data — email us and we'll provide your stored data within 30 days

When you delete your account, all cloud-stored data (Firestore documents), leaderboard entries (SilentWolf), and Firebase Authentication records are permanently removed.

9. Children's Privacy

Top Jump is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
